Our candidates and clients can always be assured that all vetting procedures have been carried out using all requirements and more within the industry, allowing clients to comply with their legal obligations for Safer Recruitment in Education.

To ensure that our vetting procedures are always adhered to we will only place candidate’s that have been able to demonstrate they hold:

    • Proof of right to work in the UK (UK/EU Passport or valid Visa document)

    • Valid Photographic ID

    • Teaching Qualification – if applicable (verified by DfE/QTLS check or UK NARIC if awarded     overseas)

    • Current DBS Certificate (including a valid Online Status Check)

    • Signed Declaration relating to Disqualification by Association

    • Barred List Clearance (formerly List 99)

    • Overseas Police Checks – if applicable (for time spent living or working overseas)

    • Medical Declaration

    • Structured & in depth Competency Based Interview

    • Professional References (covering 2 years including most recent employer)

    • Current CV (covering up to 10 year work history)

 

Prior to attending a trial day, interview or observation, Sereniteach will ensure all client schools have a complete list of the safeguarding checks for each and every candidate which the school can access any time.
